The Trusts EcoHouse is a wonderful demonstration in sustainable building practices and is open to the public for viewing.
For two years the house was occupied by a family of four, and demonstrated high levels of savings: energy use reduced by 33%; Water use reduced by 66%.
The house required almost no additional space heating in winter, was dry and comfortable, and the tenants reported health improvements in their asthmatic children.
