Nau mai, haere mai! Join us at Waituna stream where it flows into Little Muddy Creek (Paruiti Awa). We will be doing some preparation to get this area ready for planting.
Be a part of transforming this stream into a thriving awa that flows well in changeable weather, is more resilient in heavy rain and drought, and helps move water quickly to the sea.
Bring a hat, rain jacket and gardening gloves if you have any, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes.
Meet at the Brick Bridge on Huia Road (opp Tangiwai Reserve). The best place to park is on Landing Road.
This event is a collaboration between Waima to Lainghom Pest Free Zone and EcoMatters and supported by Auckland Council Healthy Waters.
