DESCRIPTION:Due to the weather this has been cancelled – we will meet again on 25 Nov. Ngā mihi. \nCome along to this weeding bee and help save Scroggy Stream from invasive weeds. We’ll be working in Matangirua/Chettle Reserve\, close to Bunnings Warehouse\, New Lynn. It’s our first step in transforming this stream into a haven for native birds and critters\, and ensuring it flows well during changeable weather. \n\n\nKids welcome but must be supervised. Sturdy closed-toe shoes are required\, and gardening gloves\, a rain jacket and a sun hat are advised. Please bring your own light snack and drink bottle. \n\nSupported by the Whau Local Board.
